Remove/Install Charge Air Temperature Sensor - AR09.41-P-2002CD

ENGINES 651 in MODELS 166, 172, 204, 207, 212, 218, 221 

	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1.1	Remove underfloor paneling	Model 166.0	AR61.30-P-1001GQ
1.2	Remove soundproofing bottom section in the center	Model 172.4	AR94.30-P-5300W
		Model 204.9	AR61.20-P-1105CY
		Model 204.0/2/3, 207, 212, 218	AR94.30-P-5300EW
1.3	Detach lower engine compartment paneling	Model 221 except CODE (Z07) Top protection	AR61.20-P-1105SX
2	Disconnect electrical connector (4) from charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)	The electrical connector (4) also, at the time, secures the snap-in bracket on the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8).
3	Press together snap-in bracket and disengage charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) at the mount	Do not unlatch or latch charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) with the electrical connector (4) to ensure that the snap-in bracket is not overstretched. Always replace charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) with defective snap-in brackets. Replace sealing ring.
4	Pull out charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)
5	Install in the reverse order
