- Expose spot welds on center rear center section (2) and inner rear center section (3) and cut out (areas A1
, A2
, A3
, A4
, A5
).
- Expose spot welds on inner rear center section (1) and cut out (areas E1 , E2 ).
- Grind mating surfaces on body down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
Grind flange down to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Coat insides of flange with zinc dust paint.
