Rain closing function when vehicle is parked

The vehicle is considered parked when circuit 15R is OFF or when the vehicle was locked.

When the rain sets in, the system responds as follows:

Vehicles with interior protection

Alarm triggering by the interior protection is suppressed during rain closing to prevent unintentional triggering of the anti-theft alarm system. Dynamic rain closing function (during vehicle operation) (vehicles with a panoramic sliding sunroof)

With the dynamic rain closing function, the raised panoramic sliding sunroof automatically lowers itself out of the tilt position during vehicle operation in the case of heavy rain. This prevents rain from being blown in.

Panoramic sliding sunroof lowers itself if windshield wiper system is operated at highest level for approx. 15 s.
