Reading in of sensors and signals 

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

• Direct line 
• Interior CAN (CAN B) 

Direct line 

The signals from the following sensors are read via direct lines:

• Hall sensor 1, panoramic sliding sunroof roller sun blind (M12/5b1)
• Hall sensor 2, panoramic sliding sunroof roller sun blind (M12/5b2)

Interior CAN 

The following data are read in over the interior CAN:

• Status of roof system switch (N70s1)
• Data for rain/light sensor with additional functions (B38/2)
• Status of left front door rotary tumbler switch (A85s1)
• Right front door rotary tumbler switch status (A85/1s1)
• Outside temperature
• Vehicle speed

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components 

The panoramic sliding door control unit controls the panoramic sliding door roller sun blind motor (M12/5m1) via a direct line.

• Hall sensor 2, panoramic sliding sunroof (A98b2)
