Remove/Install Side Paneling In Rear - AR68.30-P-4780EQ

Shown on model 253 up to model year 2020 with code 293 (rear sidebags) on the right-hand side of the vehicle and removed backrest

	Remove/install
1	Remove seat cushion in rear passenger compartment.		AR91.12-P-1020LW
2	Release left and right seat backrests and fold forward.
3	Unclip cover over belt end fitting.
4	Remove nut (6).
5	Unclip covers (7).
6	Remove screws (8).
7	Remove the left/right rear door sill.		AR68.30-P-4100LW
8	Detach the edge guard (2) in the area of the left/right side paneling (1).	Installation:  Ensure that edge guard (2) is seated correctly.
9	Remove nut (3).
10	Unclip the left/right side paneling (1) from the retaining clips (4).	The number of retaining clips (4) can vary according to vehicle model.
11	Disconnect the electrical connection (5) on the button for the left rear backrest release (S54/11)/button for the right rear backrest release (S54/12).	Model 253 (except 253.992/993) up to model year 2020
12	Remove the feed-through grommet via the locking hook for the folding backrest in the rear.
13	Remove the left/right side paneling (1).
14	Install in the reverse order.
