| 1 | Attach adhesive film (3), as shown, to armrest (2) of rear door (1). | The adhesive foil (3) must be installed flush in relation to the cover (6). Armrest (2) can otherwise be damaged during removal of left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) and/or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4). |

| 2 | Insert disassembly tool from rear at side at an angle of 45° to left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4). | Fig 1 | |
| 3 | Turn disassembly tool through 45° so that this is located at an angle of 90° to left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4). | Fig 1 | |
| 4 | Release left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) and/or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4) with cover (6) from armrest (2) by means of a lever movement. | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connection (4). | ||
| 6 | Release locks (5) and remove left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4) from cover (6). | ||

| 7 | Install left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4) in cover (6). | ||
| 8 | Connect electrical connector (4). | ||
| 9 | Install left rear power window push button switch (S21/3) or right rear power window push button switch (S21/4) with cover (6) in armrest (2). | ||
