	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Remove door lining (2) at front door.		AR72.10-P-1000LW
2	Remove trim of window frame (3).	Window frame lining (3) is secured in a positive-locking manner with window frame and also clipped in area of mirror triangle into window frame with a retaining clip (3.1).
3	Remove inner sealing rail (4).	Carefully lift inner sealing frame (4) out of fold of inner door panel. Inner sealing frame (4) can otherwise deform and must be replaced.

5	Insert paper tape (10) between outer sealing rail (6) and trim element (5). 6	Remove outer sealing rail (6) starting at installation location of outside mirror.	Carefully lift out outer sealing rail (6) from fold of inner door panel with aid of a base. Otherwise the outer sealing rail (6) can deform or the paint be scratched.

7	Remove outside mirror seal (8).
8	Remove side window seal (1) in area of B-pillar cover (7).
9	Unscrew screws (9) of B-pillar cover (7).
10	Remove B-pillar cover (7).
11	Detach trim element (5) starting at installation location of outside mirror and remove towards rear. 12	Remove side window seal (1) in area of outside mirror installation location.
13	Remove side window seal (1) from window frame.
	Install
14	Connect electrical wiring harness of removed door lining (2) to left front door control unit or right front door control unit.
15	Raise side window to center position.
16	Wet side window seal (1) in assembly area (a) with soapy water.
17	Insert front end of side window seal (1) into window guide rail and push downward.	Simultaneously move side window down in area of outside mirror. Roll down side window to pull down side window seal (1) thus facilitating assembly.
18	Disconnect electrical wiring harness of removed door lining (2) at left front door control unit or right front door control unit.	Side window must be in lower-most position.
19	Pull side window seal (1) upwards again until correct installation position is reached.	Ensure side window seal (1) is correctly seated in window guide rail.
20	Wet side window seal (1) in assembly area of window frame with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
21	Install side window seal (1) in window frame except in area of B-pillar cover (7).	Ensure that sealing lip (1.1) is seated correctly on window frame.
22	Install B-pillar cover (7).
23	Tighten screws (9) of B-pillar cover (7).
24	Install side window seal (1) in area of B-pillar cover (7).
	Check
25	Check installation position of side window seal (1).	If a problem arises ↓ Rectify the installation position.
26	Wet web of trim element (5) and side window seal (1) with lubricant. 28	Install outside mirror seal (8).
29	Secure paper tape (10) on trim element (5). 30	Wet rubber seal of outer sealing rail (6) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
31	Install outer sealing rail (6).	The outer sealing rail (6) must be flush with the edge of the rear door paneling.
32	Install outside mirror.		AR88.70-P-9000LW
33	Wet rubber seal of inner sealing rail (4) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
34	Install inner sealing rail (4).
35	Install trim of window frame (3).
36	Install door lining (2) at front door.		AR72.10-P-1000LW
