1. Check status of suspension strut tower (cast part A).

   If cracks, folds or deformations are present always replace suspension strut tower (cast part) (A).

   Otherwise the required minimum strength of the structural components is not ensured.

   Reshaping or repairing not permissible.

2. Check crossmember tieout on suspension strut tower (cast part) (A) for "skid marks" on threaded connections and deformation of bolt holes.

3. Check status of connecting flange on suspension strut tower (cast part) for front module carrier (B).

   If cracks or folds are present always  replace connecting flange on suspension strut tower (cast part for front module carrier (B).

   Otherwise the required minimum strength of the structural components is not ensured.

   Reshaping or repairing marginally  permissible.

4. Check status of crossmember (cast part) above rear axle (C).

   Always  replace crossmember (cast part) over rear axle (C) in the event of cracks, folds, or deformation. Otherwise the required minimum strength of the structural components is not ensured.

   Reshaping or repairing not permissible.

5. Check status of longitudinal member console (cast part) (D).

   If cracks, folds or deformations are present always  replace longitudinal member console (cast part) (D). Otherwise the required minimum strength of the structural components is not ensured.

   Reshaping or repairing not permissible.

6. Check status of suspension strut tower (cast part E).

   If cracks, folds or deformations are present always  replace suspension strut tower (cast part) (E).

   Otherwise the required minimum strength of the structural components is not ensured.

   Reshaping or repairing not  permissible.
