| 3 | Unclip cover to rear in cutout of steering column tube module | ||

| 5 | Remove bolts (2, 4) from instrument panel carrier (3) | ||
| 6 | Detach cable tie (6) from instrument panel carrier (3) | ||
| 7 | Remove foam material (5) | ||
| 8 | Remove instrument panel carrier (3) downward from instrument panel (1) | ||
| 9 | Release catch hooks (7) on electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) in direction of arrows and remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) from instrument panel (1) | ||
| 10 | Guide electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) downward out of instrument panel (1) until electrical connectors (8) are accessible | ||
| 11 | Disconnect electrical connectors (8) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) | ||
| 12 | Remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order |
