Electronic ignition/starter switch (EZS) removal and installation - AR46.10-P-0810NKA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Connect Star Diagnosis and perform initial startup of electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) When replacing the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2 Remove instrument cluster   AR54.30-P-6015NKB
3 Unclip cover to rear in cutout of steering column tube module    
4 Remove driver kneebag MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 294 (Kneebag) AR91.60-P-0200NKB
5 Remove bolts (2, 4) from instrument panel carrier (3)    
6 Detach cable tie (6) from instrument panel carrier (3)    
7 Remove foam material (5)    
8 Remove instrument panel carrier (3) downward from instrument panel (1)    
9 Release catch hooks (7) on electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) in direction of arrows and remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) from instrument panel (1)    
10 Guide electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) downward out of instrument panel (1) until electrical connectors (8) are accessible    
11 Disconnect electrical connectors (8) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)    
12 Remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)    
13 Install in the reverse order
