	Remove, install driver-side footwell paneling (2)
1	Move driver seat towards the rear
2	Disconnect ground line of battery	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 with CODE 294 (Kneebag)
2	Disconnect ground line of battery	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 with CODE 294 (Kneebag)	AR54.10-P-0003NKB
3	Unscrew bolts (7) and remove driver side footwell paneling (2)	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 with CODE 294 (Kneebag) Secure driver kneebag against falling down.

4	Unlock electrical connector from diagnostic connector (X11/4) and disconnect

7	Release catch hook (11) and unclip release (12) from driver-side footwell paneling (2)
8	Remove driver side footwell paneling (2) from vehicle
9	Remove diagnostic connector (X11/4) from driver side footwell paneling (2)	When replacing driver side footwell paneling (2).
10	Remove left front footwell lamp from driver side footwell paneling (2)	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 with CODE U62 (Exterior light and sight package) When replacing driver side footwell paneling (2).
11	Install in the reverse order
	Remove, install passenger side footwell paneling (1)
12	Move front passenger seat towards the rear
13	Remove retaining clips (3) from passenger side footwell paneling (1)	Clip remover	Figure
14	Push passenger side footwell paneling (1) toward front out of brackets (4)
15	Disconnect electrical connector (5) and remove passenger side footwell paneling (1)	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 with CODE U62 (Exterior light and sight package)
16	Remove right front footwell lamp (E17/15)	MODEL 117, 176, 242, 246 with CODE U62 (Exterior light and sight package) When replacing passenger side footwell paneling (1).
17	Install in the reverse order
