	Remove/install
1	Remove front door lining	Model 176	AR72.10-P-1000NKB
		Model 117	AR72.10-P-1000NKC
2	Lay door lining on a clean, padded surface
3	Remove matting (1)
4	Drill plastic spot welds (2)	Observe drilling and cutting depth. Otherwise the plastic spot welds (2) can be damaged when drilling through. Drill out plastic spot welds (2) into which plastic has flowed during welding with a Ø 3.5 mm bit. Operate cordless drill/driver with spot facer (5) for cutting out plastic spot welds (2) at high speed and low forward motion. Use spot facer (5) M4 to DIN 373 with head diameter 8 mm and pin diameter 3.3 mm. Use commercially available cordless drill/driver.
5	Unscrew bolt (4)
6	Disconnect electrical connection of ambience illumination	Model 117, 176 with code 877 (ambient lighting)
7	Release catch hooks (3) and remove front door armrest	Removed plastic-welded armrest cannot be reinstalled, always replace.
8	Release switch group of front door power windows and remove upwards
9	Install in the reverse order
