| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screw/bolt (4) | *BA91.40-P-1001-01U | |
| 7 | Remove screw/bolt (5) | *BA91.40-P-1001-01U | |
| 8 | Remove seat belt retractor with reversible emergency tensioning retractor (6) from B-pillar | ||
| 9 | Unclip electrical line (8) (arrow) | Fig 2 | |
| 10 | Disconnect electrical connection (9) | ||
| 11 | Dispose of removed belt retractor with reversible emergency tensioning retractor (6) properly | When replacing belt retractor with reversible emergency tensioning retractor (6). | |
| 12 | Install in reverse order | ||
