	Remove
1	Move driver or front passenger seat to foremost position.
2	Release cover (1) at catches (6) and remove.	Long wedge	Fig 2
3	Unhook cable of seat backrest release from distributor (7).
4	Remove head restraint (4).		AR91.16-P-0040LW
5	Remove cover (8) upwards.
6	Remove screws/bolts (9).
7	Remove release handle (3) with cable.
8	Unclip cover (11) from seat-back lining (2).
9	Unscrew bolts (10).
10	Release catch hooks (14) in direction of arrow (a) from catches (15).
11	Release catch hooks (16) in direction of arrow (b) from catches (17).
12	Unlock seat-back lining (2) completely and remove upwards.	Carefully unlock seat-back lining (2) in lower area. Otherwise, the panels (12) can be damaged. Long wedge	Fig 2
	Install
13	Attach a felt strip (13) as shown at center catch (6).	When replacing the seat-back lining (2). Self-adhesive felt strips 25 X 2 mm	*BR00.45-Z-1098-02A
14	Attach a felt strip (13) in the same manner at the outer catch (6).	Model 205.4 with code 403 (Airscarf® System) except code 555 (AMG-Performance Seat)   Model 238.4 with code 403 (Airscarf® System) When replacing the seat-back lining (2). Self-adhesive felt strips 25 X 2 mm	*BR00.45-Z-1098-02A
15	Position seat-back lining (2) from above and latch fully into place.
16	Tighten bolts (10).
17	Clip cover (11) onto seat-back lining (2).
18	Insert release handle (3) with cable.
19	Tighten screws (9).
20	Install cover (8).
21	Install head restraint (4).		AR91.16-P-0040LW
22	Hook cable of seat backrest release onto distributor (7).
23	Position cover (1) and latch into place.
24	Move driver and front passenger seat back.
