	Remove/Install
1	Adjust steering column upward.
2	Adjust driver seat to the rear.
3	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (for at least 2 m).
4	Disconnect ground line from battery.	Model 293 with code 294 (Knee Air Bag)	AR54.10-P-0003EQ
		Model 205, 213, 253 with code 294 (Knee Air Bag)	AR54.10-P-0003LW
5	Loosen cover (1) and lower until the driver knee air bag (3) can be removed.	Model 293 with code 294 (Knee Air Bag)	AR68.10-P-1501EQ

		Model 205, 253 with code 294 (Knee Air Bag)	AR68.10-P-1500LW
6	Unscrew screws (2) and lower driver knee air bag (3) until the electrical connector (4) is accessible.	Bolt, knee airbag to crossmember	*BA91.60-P-1003-Q1O
7	Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).	Make sure that the electrical connector (4) engages properly.
8	Remove driver knee air bag (3).
9	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
10	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.	When replacing driver knee airbag (3).
