| 4 | Release wheel arch liner (1) from rear fender (3). | ||

| 5 | Heat grommets (5) and remove. | If stop plugs (5) are damaged. | |

| 6 | Remove adhesive residues from rear fender (3) and clean bonding surfaces. |

Do not touch bonding surfaces with bare fingers and they should be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other adhesive components or dirt residues. Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. |

| 7 | Install stop plugs (5). | If stop plugs (5) are damaged or when replacing rear fender (3). | |

Heat stop plugs (5) so they can bond with rear fender (3). Otherwise corrosion damage may occur. |

| 8 | Remove protective foils (6) of the adhesive strips from the new wheel arch liner (1). | ||
| 9 | Position shackle (arrow) in cutout of longitudinal member panel (4), position pins (7) on stop plugs (5), and press on wheel arch liner (1). | ||
| 10 | Clip wheel arch liner (1) into the rear bumper (3). | ||
| 11 | Close rear door. | ||
