The following work procedure is shown on the left side of the vehicle, the installation is to be performed on the right.
- Remove cover (1.1) from running board (1).
- Install bracket (9) on longitudinal member and fasten with nuts (10).
- Install running board (1) on bracket (9).
Ensure that catch tabs (1.6, 1.7 and 1.8) as well as retaining clips (1.5) are seated correctly.
- Arrest catch tabs (1.6, 1.7 and 1.8) as well as retaining clips (1.5) in bracket (9) by pressing on running board (1).
- Fasten edge guard on rear wheel arch on running board (1).
- Screw nuts (4) tight.
- Install expansion rivets (2).
- Install cover (1.1) on running board (1).
