The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and can be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.
- Lay roof spoiler (1) down ton rear window and push in direction of arrow until roof spoiler (1) makes contact with liftgate and the joint between the roof spoiler (1) and the liftgate is uniform.
- Mark installation position of roof spoiler (1) with adhesive strips (3).
Carefully cut adhesive strips (3) with suitable knife. Damage can otherwise occur.
- Slightly remove protective foils (4) on adhesive strips, bend at an angle-45° in direction of outer edge of roof spoiler (1) and fasten.
- Remove protective foil (5) on adhesive strips.
- Position roof spoiler (1) on liftgate using previously attached adhesive strips (3) as reference and press in area of previously removed protective foil.
- Remove protective foils (4) on roof spoiler (1) and press on roof spoiler (1).
When pressing on, ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive tape. Otherwise there may be adhesion problems.
The maximum adhesive strength is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. Prevent any mechanical stress. Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, carwash) within the first 24 hours.
- Remove adhesive strips (3).
