Detach
- Mark position of propeller shaft flange (2) relative to output flange (3) of transmission in color.
- Fit
counterholder onto bolts of flexible coupling of rear axle differential.
Helper required.
- Remove screws/bolts (4).
Helper required.
- Detach drive shaft (1) from output flange (3) of transmission.
Carefully detach drive shaft (1).
Otherwise the pilot bushing in the drive shaft (1) may be damaged.
Attach
- Position drive shaft (1) onto output flange (3) of transmission.
Carefully slide on drive shaft (1).
Otherwise the pilot bushing in the drive shaft (1) may be damaged.
Observe colored marking of drive shaft (1).
- Fit
counterholder onto bolts of flexible coupling of rear axle differential.
Helper required.
- Screw in screws (4)

- Remove
counterholder from flexible coupling of rear axle differential.
