Pre-tension the tensioning device if the poly-V belt has ripped as the device will have been fully released.
Otherwise it is not possible to guarantee sufficient belt tensioning.
- Turn the tensioning pulley bracket to installation position (arrow) and insert the installation pin (1).
- Turn the tensioning device on the multipoint unit (3) counter-clockwise and insert the installation pin (2) into the installation bore hole.
In this process, the installation pin (1) must remain installed.
- Remove the installation pin (1).
Only remove the installation pin (2) after having positioned the poly-V belt.
