Flush Out Automatic Transmission And Torque Converter - AR27.55-P-0100B

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Expose connecting point. IMPORTANT Determine the connecting point according to the accessibility of the feed line (2) or the return line (1).  
2 Clean area surrounding connecting point thoroughly. NOTES
Ensure scrupulous cleanliness.
Even the smallest dirt particles can lead to malfunctions in the hydraulic components and to total failure of the hydraulic system.		  
    Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
3.1 Disconnect feed line (2) or return line (1) at connecting point with safety clip. Transmission 725.0  
    Transmission 725.0 in model 166, 167, 205, 213, 217, 222, 223, 238, 253, 257, 290, 292 AR27.10-P-0501-03LF

3.2 Disconnect feed line (2) or return line (1) at connecting point. Transmission 722.6/9  
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seal.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Transmission 722.6Banjo bolt or union nut, oil cooler line to torque converter and transmission housing *BA27.55-P-1002-01B 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Transmission 722.9Bolt, oil line to transmission housing *BA27.55-P-1002-01D 
4 Connect transmission flushing unit. i33  
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 08 82 00 Transmission flushing unit   WS27.00-P-0137B 
    IMPORTANT Connect SPECIAL TOOL line (blue) (3) at return connection of oil cooler (5).
Connect SPECIAL TOOL line (black) (4) with SPECIAL TOOL adapter between transmission flushing unit and onboard return line (1).
IMPORTANT Note flow direction of oil circuit.

5 Flush valves of fully integrated transmission control controller unit (Y3/8) using diagnostic device.

6 Flush oil circuit. IMPORTANT Observe specifications from flushing unit manufacturer.  
7 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
8 Check and correct oil level in automatic transmission. Transmission 722.6 AR27.00-P-0100AC
    Transmission 722.9 (except 722.96/97) with transmission flushing unit AR27.00-P-0270W
    Transmission 722.96/97 with transmission flushing unit AR27.00-P-0270SYZ
    Transmission 725.0 (except 725.007/017/037/047) AR27.00-P-0270EWN
    Transmission 725.007/017/037/047 AR27.00-P-0270EWH
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9 Perform engine test run and check automatic transmission for proper operation and leak tightness.
