	Remove/install
1	Remove seat cushion in rear passenger compartment.	Model 205.2 with code 248 (Rear seat with integrated child seat) Model 205.2 with code P10 (Taxi package Germany)	AR91.12-P-1020LWA

2	Unclip cover over belt end fitting.	Model 253, 293
3	Remove screw/bolt (2).	Bolt, rear belt end fitting	*BA91.40-P-1005-01U
4	Unclip seat belt end fitting (3).	Hold seat belt (4) when unclipping and then guide slowly upwards. Otherwise, the surrounding panels and components can be damaged.
5	Remove side load compartment trim (5).	Model 253 (except 253.992/993), 293	AR68.30-P-1180LWG

6	Disconnect ground line from battery.	Model 293	AR54.10-P-0003EQ

7	Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).
8	Unscrew bolt (7).	Bolt, rear seat belt retractor	*BA91.40-P-1006-01U
9	Unclip seat belt retractor (1) with seat belt (4) and remove upwards.	Ensure correct seating of belt retractor (1).
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.	When replacing the seat belt retractor (1).
