Remove/Install Knock Sensors - AR15.12-P-2184MRA

1 Perform disable for the high voltage on-board electrical system Engine 274.9 in model 205.047/147/247

2 Remove upper Engine cover INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install upper Engine cove after the leak test.  
3 Remove center and rear lower Engine compartment paneling INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install center and rear lower rear Engine compartment paneling again after leak test. AR61.20-P-1105LW
4 Release and disconnect the high voltage plug from electrical A/C compressor Engine 274.9 in model 205.047/147/247

7 Remove charge air cooler   AR09.41-P-6819MRA
8 Release and disconnect electrical connections for knock sensors (A16/1, A16/2)    
9 Remove knock sensors (A16/1, A16/2) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, knock sensor to crankcase *BA15.10-P-1001-02B 
10 Install in the reverse order    
11 REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Read out and erase fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04B
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when Engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the Engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12 Perform an Engine test run and check Engine for proper operation and leaktightness    
13 Install center and lower Engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105LW
14 Install upper Engine cover
