| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Release ball neck (3). | ||
| 2 | Unscrew screw/bolts (1). | ||
| 3 | Route trailer socket (X58) out of ball neck (3). | ||
| 4 | Release plug (4) by passing a screwdriver though holes (arrows). | ||
| 5 | Remove plug (4). | ||
| 6 | Release catches (5) and remove housing (2) from plug socket housing (6). | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 8 | Perform function check of light signals at trailer socket (X58). |
