Shown on fully electric swiveling trailer hitch
- Remove adhesive residue from seals (arrows) using suitable tool.
Use assembly cleaner.

- Remove stop plug (8) from rear center section.
- Insert left longitudinal member reinforcement (2) into left longitudinal frame member.
- Insert right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) into right longitudinal frame member.

- Screw on screw/bolt (5) of right longitudinal member reinforcement (3) finger-tight.
- Screw on screw/bolt (5) of left longitudinal member reinforcement (2) finger-tight.

- Tighten nuts (15) finger-tight.
- Position trailer hitch crossmember (1) onto left and right longitudinal member reinforcements (2 and 3) and screw on screws/bolts (13) finger-tight.
- Align trailer hitch.
The sequence of operation steps described below must strictly be observed.
In order to ensure that the trailer hitch is seated correctly.
- Tighten nuts (15) to specified torque

- Tighten screws/bolts (5) to specified torque

- Tighten bolts (13) at left and right to torque
- Guide trailer hitch wiring harness (20) through rear center section into vehicle interior and fit grommet provided.
