	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Carry out commissioning of electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).	When replacing the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Remove steering column module.		AR54.25-P-2802LW
4	Unclip trim (1) from instrument panel (2).	Long wedge	Fig 2
5	Remove bolts (3, 4, 5, 6) and push steering column tube (7) all the way to the left.
	Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process		AH00.00-P-0020-01A
	Notes on threaded connections with aluminum screws/bolts	Replace bolts (3, 4, 5, 6). Position bolts (3, 4, 5, 6) lightly by hand and then tighten them in the given sequence.	AH00.00-P-0006-01RM
		Bolt, steering column tube to crossmember under instrument panel	*BA46.10-P-1001-03S
6	Disconnect electrical connector (8).
7	Press release tabs (9) together in direction of arrow and push out electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) towards the engine compartment.
8	Remove electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) between the steering column tube (7) and the instrument panel (2).
9	Install in the reverse order.
