Remove/Install DAS 4 Alarm Siren - AR80.50-P-9842LWO

Model 213 with engine 177, 256, 264, 274, 276 

with code 228 (Auxiliary heater) 

with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant) 

with code 882 (Interior protection and tow-away protection) 

Model 238 with engine 256, 264, 274, 276

REMOVING Remove     
1 Perform commissioning of alarm siren (H3/1) When replacing alarm siren (H3/1).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Model 238 AD00.00-P-2000-06LWO
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Model 213, 253 AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Deactivate anti-theft alarm system (ATA)    
3 Remove bracket (1) with inerting system cartridge (2)   AR86.10-P-0106LWE
4 Unscrew nut (3) and remove alarm siren (H3/1) with bracket (4) from bracket (1)    
DANGER The high voltage used for electric welding presents a lethal hazard. Risk of explosion  from welding in areas close to highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning  from inhaling welding gases Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A
5 Screw commercially available nut onto threaded pin (5) and weld with two tack weld points with theft-proof nut (6) When replacing alarm siren (H3/1).  
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 02 84 00 Welder   WS60.00-P-0022K
6 Unscrew commercially available nut together with theft-proof nut (6) and remove bracket (4) from alarm siren (H3/1) When replacing alarm siren (H3/1).  
INSTALLING Install     
7 Tighten bracket (4) with new theft-proof nut (6) on alarm siren (H3/1) When replacing alarm siren (H3/1).  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, horn to bracket *BA80.50-P-1002-01D 
    SPECIAL TOOL Socket Fig 1
8 Position alarm siren (H3/1) with bracket (4) on bracket (1) and tighten nut (3) IMPORTANT Ensure correct seat of bracket (4) on bracket (1).  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, bracket for horn to body/bracket *BA80.50-P-1003-01D 
9 Install bracket (1) with inerting system cartridge (2)   AR86.10-P-0106LWE
