Purpose:

Charger for charging and recharging starter batteries without disconnection from the on-board electrical system.

NOTE: A distinction is made between 3 power categories depending on the use case:

For trickle charge: At least 16 A charging current
For quick charge, backup function: At least 30 A charging current
For flash/buffer operation: At least 80 A charging current

Mercedes-Benz lithium ion batteries can also be charged using the specified chargers. Special lithium-ion chargers are not necessary. Observe the specifications in the pertinent repair documents and service information!
