13 Loosen screws (2) on the left or right hinge (1) and adjust height of Engine hood (7).    
14 Tighten screw (2) on the left and right hinge (1). TORQUE SPECIFICATION

15 Install retaining clip (6). Model 205  
16.1 Fasten drip rail (5) in area of windshield (4). Model 205, 213, 238

17 Remove felt strip (3) from the windshield (4).    
  Adjust height at front     
18 Completely screw in left and right stop buffer (14).    
19 Adjust height of Engine hood (7) by turning the nut (13) on the left and right hood catch upper part (12). Model 205 Engine hood to headlamp *BE60.00-P-1002-01BB

20 Mark left and right stop buffer (14) in contact area of Engine hood (7) with chalk.    
21 Remove stop buffers (14) until Engine hood (7) makes contact with stop buffers (14) when closed. IMPORTANT
A chalk mark must be visible on the Engine hood (7).		 j
22 Remove stop buffers (14) by a quarter revolution. IMPORTANT
To avoid vibrations, the hood (7) is subjected to slight tension.		  
23 Repair paint damage in the area around the hinges (1) and the hood catch upper sections (12) with primer filler and touch-up paint pen. If paint damage occurs when adjusting.  
    IMPORTANT
Use only primer filler and paints approved by Daimler AG: https://xentryportaLi.daimler.com 		  
24 Protect area around the hinges (1) and hood catch upper sections (12) against corrosion. Cavity preservation (free of solvents), 1 liter *BR00.45-Z-1003-05A
