Prepare Center Roof Paneling For Installation - Ar65.10-P-1000-03CLW

except code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) 

1. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

   Do not grind areas C down to bare metal.

2. Remove grinding dust.
3. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas D).

   Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

4. Prepare bonding surfaces on center roof paneling (1) in crosshatched areas (areas C).

   Observe processing specifications of adhesive.
