	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

	Check
1	Move windshield wiper system into park position.
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Move windshield wiper system by hand into reversing position.	Do not move the windshield wiper system beyond the reversing position.
4	Remove wiper blades.	When working on raised driver-side wiper arm (1) or passenger-side wiper arm (2), ensure that they do not fall onto the windshield. Otherwise windshield will be damaged.
	Clean
5	Clean wiper blade mounts on driver-side wiper arm (1) and passenger-side wiper arm (2) using a clean cloth.
6	Check angle of incidence of driver-side wiper arm (1) and passenger-side wiper arm (2) relative to windshield.		AR82.30-P-6000-01LW
		When changing from the reversing position to the park position, ensure that the driver-side wiper arm (1) and the passenger-side wiper arm (2) do not make direct contact with windshield. Otherwise windshield will be damaged.

7	Adjust angle of incidence of driver-side wiper arm (1) or passenger-side wiper arm (2) in the park position.	If the test values deviate from the tolerance range in the reversing position or in the parked and reversing position.	AR82.30-P-6100-01LW
		Distort driver-side wiper arm (1) or passenger-side wiper arm (2) by at least the value of the tolerance deviation in reversing position.
