| Remove | |||
| 1 | Loosen door trim | Do not expose electrical lines and electrical connectors high tractive force. This can lead to contact problems and discontinuity. |

| 2 | Detach inner sealing rail (2) and outer sealing rail up to mirror triangle (7) | Carefully lift inner sealing rail (2) and outer sealing rail out of fold of inner door panel. Otherwise the inner sealing rail (2) and outer sealing rail can be damaged. |

| 3 | Remove adhesive tapes (5) | ||
| 4 | Move side window (1) to service position so that bolts (3, 4) are accessible through access openings | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connectors from left front door control unit or right front door control unit and remove door liner from working area | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screw/bolt (3) | ||
| 7 | Loosen screw (4) | ||
| 8 | Tilt side window (1) toward rear upward and remove upward from window channel on front door | ||
| 9 | Unclip bracket (6) from side window (1) and remove | When replacing side window (1). | |
| Install | |||
| 10 | Moisten rubber seal on inner sealing rail (2) with lubricant | Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 | *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A |
| 11 | Install inner sealing rail (2) | ||
| 12 | Insert side window (1) from top into window channel and push downward until it makes contact in mount | Ensure that the side window (1) runs correctly into the inner sealing rail (2). Otherwise the inner sealing rail (2) can be damaged and the guide for side window (1) lost. |

| 13 | Install outer sealing rail | ||
| 14 | Tighten screw (3) | *BA67.30-P-1001-01B | |
| 15 | Tighten bolt (4) | ||
| 16 | Glue new adhesive tapes (5) to assembly openings | ||
| 17 | Connect electrical connectors of removed door panel to left front door control unit or right front door control unit | ||
| 18 | Move side window (1) down | ||
| 19 | Install door paneling | AR72.10-P-1000LW |
