	Remove/Install
1	Adjust driver and front passenger seat into fully reclined position.	Model 205.0/1/3, 238.3
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Disconnect ground line on battery.	Model 293	AR54.10-P-0003EQ

4.1	Remove roof lining and place onto seats.	Model 205.0/1/3   Model 238.3	AR68.30-P-4300LWO

5	Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) at gas generator.
6	Remove screw (3).	Bolt, holder for window air bag gas generator to A-pillar/roof frame	*BA91.6G-P-1004-01O
7	Unhook holder for gas generator from body.
8	Detach cable duct (1) from C-pillar and place to one side.	Model 205.0/1
9	Insert a suitable pair of pliers through the openings (arrows A), press the tabs (arrow B) together and remove the clamps (4).	Model 205.3, 238.3 In the A-pillar area, the bottom clamp (4) is replaced by a nut or a screw.
10	Unhook shackle (6) of window airbag unit (2) from A-pillar.	Model 205.0/1/2
11	Remove window airbag unit (2) with gas generator and place in vehicle.
12	Remove window airbag unit (2) with gas generator from vehicle.	Handle window airbag unit (2) carefully. Otherwise, the remaining interior equipment or paint may be damaged.
13	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
14	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.	When replacing window airbag unit (2).
