| 3 | Remove screw (1) and loosen remaining screws of connecting panel (2) by several revolutions | *BA64.10-P-1001-01D | |
| 4 | Loosen nut (3) and screw (4) at seat belt extender | ||
| 5 | Remove screw (5) at belt sash guide (6) | *BA91.40-P-1002-01U | |
| 6 | Insert assembly wedge between connecting panel (2) and body | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Guide out seat belt (7) between connecting panel (2) and body and place down in vehicle together with belt sash guide (6) | ||
| 8 | Release and disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the squib of the seat belt retractor (10) | Otherwise, the function of the seat belt retractor (10) is not ensured. |

| 10 | Remove the seat belt (7) with the seat belt retractor (10) from the vehicle | ||
