Remove/Install Lock Cylinder On Glove Compartment Lock - AR68.10-P-1250W

Model 166, 172.4, 204, 205, 207, 212, 213, 218, 238, 253, 292, 293

REMOVING Remove     
1 Insert emergency key (4) into lock cylinder (1) and turn approx. 45° as shown.    
2 Remove lock cylinder (1) with emergency key (4) from housing (5). IMPORTANT Hold housing (5).  
INSPECT Check     
3 Check position of edge (arrow A) of eccentric disk (3) in housing (5). IMPORTANT The edge (arrow A) of the eccentric disc (3) must be at approx. 45° as shown in the figure.

The positions of the edges (arrows A and B) are turned 180°.
 
4 Correct position of eccentric disk (3) at edges (arrow B). If required.
NOTES
Do not press to eccentric disk (3) in axial direction.
Otherwise the eccentric disk (3) can be pressed off of the housing (5).
IMPORTANT Turn eccentric disk (3) at edges (arrow B).
 
INSTALLING Install     
5 Insert lock cylinder (1) into housing (5) in 45° position with the emergency key (4). IMPORTANT Lock cylinder (1) should arrest noticeably.  
6 Remove emergency key (4) from lock cylinder (1).
