	Preparatory activity
1	Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15).
	Check
2	Check preglow system indicator lamp (2).	Model 205 with Motor 626, 651, 654 Model 253 with Motor 642, 651, 654, 656 The preglow system indicator lamp (2) must light up and then go out. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. After obtaining special order.
3	Check coolant temperature display (5) and coolant temperature warning lamp (4).	The display of the coolant temperature gauge (5) must show the corresponding coolant temperature and the coolant temperature warning lamp (4) must light up. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. After obtaining special order.
4	Check fuel display (9) and fuel reserve warning lamp (8).	The fuel level indicator (9) must indicate the current fuel level in the fuel tank, and the fuel reserve warning lamp (8) must light up. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. ↓ eliminate complaints . After obtaining special order.
5	Check driver's display (7) for visible pixle faults, vertical stripes, failed segments of black dots.	If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. After obtaining special order.
6	Manually switch on the exterior lighting.
7	Check instrument lighting.	The techometer (3) and speedometer (10) must be lit. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. After obtaining special order.
8	Operate instrument lighting brightness control.	The instrument illumination must be brighter or darker to match. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. After obtaining special order.
9	Manually switch off exterior lighting.
10	Switch on lamps in rear passenger compartment and check for proper operation.	Interior lights, Reading lamps, Mirror lamps, Glove compartment lamps. If problems occur, ↓ rectify the problems. After obtaining special order.
11	Switch off lamps in rear passenger.

12	Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0".
