	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. 	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery	Model 205, 213, 253 (except 253.992/993)	AR54.10-P-0003LW
		Model 238	AR54.10-P-0003LWO
2	Remove cover (2)
3	Release battery clamp (6)	To avoid damage to the on-board electrical system battery and the front-end relay (1). Starter series relay to positive terminal	*BA54.10-P-1010-01A
4	Remove electrical lines (4, 5) from front-end relay (1) and place to one side
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts	When unscrewing and tightening the nuts, the front-end relay (1) must make contact with the battery housing.	AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		Nut, positive line/starter wiring harness to starter series relay	*BA54.10-P-1009-01A
5	Remove front-end relay (1) and disconnect electrical connector (3)	The battery clamp (6) and front-end relay (1) are a single component, and they cannot be replaced individually.
6	Install in the reverse order
