	Remove/install
1	Remove engine cover
2	Place ME-SFI control unit to one side with lines still connected	Model 117, 156, 176 with engine 133 Model 117, 156, 176, 242, 246.2 with engine 270

3	Remove air filter housing	Model 117, 156, 176 with engine 133	AR09.10-P-1150MTA
		Model 117, 156, 176, 242, 246.2 with engine 270	AR09.10-P-1150MT
4	Remove charge air cooler	Model 156, 176 with engine 133
			AR09.41-P-6817MTA
5	Disconnect vacuum line from vacuum pump (1) and place to one side
6	Detach vacuum hose from vacuum pump (1) and place to one side
7	Detach coolant line from vacuum pump (1) and from engine suspension lug and place to one side
8	Remove bolts (1s) from vacuum pump (1)	Model 117, 156, 176 with engine 133 Screw/bolt, vacuum pump to cylinder head	*BA43.05-P-1001-01M

9	Remove vacuum pump (1) upwards	Clean sealing surfaces and replace seal (2). Note position of drive plate for vacuum pump (1) during assembly.
10	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Test run engine and carry out leak check
