| 1 | Move front seat to foremost position. | ||
| 2 | Disconnect ground line from battery. | Model 118, 177, 243.7, 247 with code 293 (Sidebag in rear left and right) |

| 3 | Release front retaining brackets (2) with wedge upward out of pilot bushings and position seat cushion (1) upward at an angle. | Only pull lightly by hand on outer side bolsters Otherwise, the seat cushion (1) will be damaged. |

| 4 | Press inclined seat cushion (1) at the same time backwards against the seat backrest and unhook rear mounting frame bows (3) out of mounting hooks (3.1). | ||

| 6 | Remove seat cushion (1) from vehicle. | Carefully remove seat cushion (1) from vehicle. Otherwise, component parts of the vehicle get damaged. |
