1. 1. 1.1 Guide STAR DIAGNOSIS plug (2) through recess in the footwell cover.

      On vehicles up to 2.01.03.

      For better access the footwell cover can be removed and the electrical center basic housing (1) folded in

   2. 1.2 Open flap (3).

      In vehicles as of 03.01.03.

2. Plug STAR DIAGNOSIS plug (2) into data link connector (X11/4).

   Pay attention to the locking of the catch lug.

3. Switch on ignition.
4. Start DAS.

   Stored faults which may be caused by disconnecting cables or by simulation during testing operations must be deleted in the diagnostic trouble code memory following the completion of the operations.

5. Remove STAR DIAGNOSIS in reverse order.
