Remove/Install Rear Axle Differential Control Unit - AR35.30-P-0004MFG

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Commission left rear axle differential control unit (N15/20) or right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21). When replacing left rear axle differential control unit (N15/20) or right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21).  
REFER TO DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
2 Lift vehicle with vehicle lift.   AR00.60-P-1006A
3 Remove electric line (1) from heat shield (2). If the right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21) is removed.
NOTES
Do not kink or stretch the electric line (1).
Otherwise damage will occur.
SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool		 Fig 2
4 Unscrew screws (3) and remove heat shield (2). If the right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21) is removed.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1		 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
5 Clean working area. Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
6 Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) from left rear axle differential control unit (N15/20) or right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21).    
7 Remove screws (4) from left rear axle differential control unit (N15/20) or right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, rear axle differential control unit to rear axle differential *BA35.31-P-1008-07A 
8 Remove left rear axle differential control unit (N15/20) or right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21). INSTALLATION NOTES
The guides of the left rear axle differential control unit (N15/20) or right rear axle differential control unit (N15/21) must engage in the groove of the drive shaft for the left clutch or right clutch.
Otherwise damage will occur.		  
9 Install in the reverse order.
