Remove/Install Rear Door Beltline Trim - AR72.12-P-0009MFA

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

  Notes on replacing plastic welded components of door panel   AH72.00-P-0001-01A 
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove corresponding door trim of rear door.   AR72.12-P-1011MFA 
2.1 Drill plastic spot welds (4, 5). If beltline trim (1) has been plastics welded. AR72.00-P-0001-01LW 
2.2 Unscrew screws from plastic spot welds (4, 5). If beltline trim (1) has been screwed on.  
3 Release catch hooks (2). Model 118, 177

4 Remove beltline trim (1). SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 2
INSTALLING Install     
5.1 Install beltline trim (1), clip into the catch hooks (2), screw on to the plastic spot welds (4, 5). Model 118, 177
IMPORTANT The number of screws required corresponds to the number of plastic spot welds drilled (4, 5).
Ensure that the beltline trim (1) is correctly seated in the basic carrier (3) (arrows).

5.2 Install beltline trim (1) and screw on at plastic spot welds (4, 5). Model 243, 247
IMPORTANT The number of screws required corresponds to the number of plastic spot welds drilled (4, 5).
Ensure that the beltline trim (1) is correctly seated in the basic carrier (3) (arrows).

6 Install corresponding rear door trim.   AR72.12-P-1011MFA
