  Polishing
1 Wash vehicle. Car Wash *BR00.45-Z-1002-04A
2 Grind damaged area in paint with fine-grained abrasive paper. IMPORTANT The grain size must be at least P2500. A better option would be a grain size between P3000 and P5000.
3 Place polishing sponge exactly in the center on the polishing pad. IMPORTANT Before the first polishing operation, spray some deionized water onto the polishing sponge.
4 Apply a little paintwork polish at the polishing area. IMPORTANT Shake paintwork polish well before use.

5 Polish the surface to be treated for at least 10 s at the lowest machine speed, approx. 800 rpm (stage 1) using moderate pressure in a cross-coat action over the damaged area. NOTES
Make uniform movements with the polishing machine and comply with the polishing time at a damaged area.
Otherwise visible irregularities occur in the paint surface.
IMPORTANT On larger areas make sure that you always polish-out one partial area (approx. 1/4 m2 ) at a time. As the paintwork polish pulverizes during polishing, a more marked abrasive effect is visible initially. The high gloss is only produced at the end.
Do not exceed a polishing time of 30 s on any single rub-down area.

6 Spray on de-ionized water and remove polish residue using a tack rag.
7 Seal polished surface with gloss preservation. IMPORTANT Shake gloss preservation well before use.
