Information on cleaning tin-plated surfaces
Before building up the paintwork using painting materials approved by Daimler AG, tin-plated surfaces must be heated with an infrared portable radiant drying unit for approx. 15 min.
After cooling, spray the tin-plated area extensively with a spray bottle and sheet metal cleaner or degreasing agent and clean thoroughly.
