Remove/Install Removal And Installation Tool For Parking Lock Mechanism - AR27.60-P-0950-01NKB

IMPORTANT

The following special tool is required: SPECIAL TOOL Removal and installation tool (724 589 00 59 00).

Assembly and handling of removal and installation tool (01) 

  1. If required, move removal and installation tool (01) to basic position.

    IMPORTANT

    Release clamping bolt (03), pull push rod (02) upwards and tighten clamping bolt (03).

  2. Attach removal and installation tool (01) to transmission housing (27G).

    IMPORTANT

    Fasten removal and installation tool (01) to transmission housing (27G) with handbolts (015).

  3. Remove retaining screw (03), push the push rod (02) downwards onto actuator for park pawl (100) and fasten push rod (02) in this position using retaining screw (03).

    IMPORTANT

    Make sure that the front part of the push rod (02) is positioned correctly on the park pawl actuator (100).

  4. After removal of the retaining ring and the locking pin, remove the retaining screw (03) and slowly move the actuator for park pawl (100) upwards.

    IMPORTANT

    The park pawl actuator (100) is spring-loaded and must therefore be released slowly.

  5. Installation of the park pawl actuator (100) and disassembly of the removal and installation tool (01) are performed in the reverse order.
