- Clean area surrounding power take-off (1) on coupling housing (27K).
- Remove screw/bolts (2) Transmission 724.0 in model 118, 177, 247 with code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive)
Transmission 724.1 in model 118, 177, 247 with code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive)
- Pry off and remove power take-off (1) from coupling housing (27K).
Do not tilt power take-off (1). Otherwise damage may occur.
: The dowel pin (3) defines the installation position.
- Remove O-ring (4).
- Install in the reverse order.
