The following special tools are required: Collet (000 589 60 34 00), thrust piece (124 589 02 34 00), a puller (001 589 50 33 00), sleeve (203 589 00 14 00).

Disassemble

Insert thrust piece into differential (50).
Insert collet (02) onto tapered roller bearing (51).
Place the puller (01) onto the collet (02) and remove the tapered roller bearing (51) from the differential (50).
Turn differential (50) around and proceed in same sequence for other tapered roller bearing (51).

Assembly
Press tapered roller bearing (51) with sleeve (03) onto differential (50).
Do not tilt the tapered roller bearing (51).

Otherwise damage will occur.
