Replace Spark Plugs - AP15.10-P-1580F

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove ignition coils    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR15.12-P-2003MFC 
CLEAN Clean     
2 Blow out any dirt residue in the spark-plug recesses using compressed air SPECIAL TOOL Set of protective covers Fig 1
    SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 3
REMOVING Remove     
3 Using spark plug wrench (01) unscrew spark plugs (1) from cylinder head SPECIAL TOOL Spark plug wrench Fig 2
INSTALLING Install     
4 Using spark plug wrench (01) screw new spark plugs (1) into cylinder head TORQUE SPECIFICATION Spark plug to cylinder head *BA15.10-P-1001-01C 
    SPECIAL TOOL Spark plug wrench Fig 2
INSPECT Check     
5 Check the spark plug connectors (2), ignition coils and ignition lines for damage, deformation and crack formation If a problem arises
↓
Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.		  
INSTALLING Install     
6 Apply coating of spark plug connector grease to sealing lips (3) of spark plug connectors (2) before installation Spark plug connector grease 35 g *BR00.45-Z-1102-06A 
7 Install ignition coils    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR15.12-P-2003MFC
