The display indicates that the meter is ready to measure angle 5. This angle is no longer measured.
- Press MEMORY button on articulation angle meter once.
The main menu appears.
- Press the MEMORY button again.
The memory displays the measured angles (a, b, d) and the resulting articulation angle ∠1 (c) and articulation angle ∠2 (e).
- Record articulation angle ∠1 (c) e.g. +0.26° and articulation angle ∠2 (e) e.g. +0.58° on the data sheet.
- Press the STEP button.
Memory display message
The measured angles (d, f) and the calculated articulation angle ∠3 (g) are displayed.
- Record articulation angle ∠3 (g) e.g. -0.08° on the data sheet.

- Calculate the articulation angles from the differences between the respective angle measurements.
Articulation angle ∠1:
Flange for power take-off to front half of propeller shaft.
Articulation angle ∠2:
Front half of propeller shaft to rear half of propeller shaft.
Articulation angle ∠3:
Rear half of propeller shaft to rear axle differential.
If a value is outside of the tolerance, it must be corrected. All articulation angle differences should be approximately in the center of the relevant tolerance range.
Check measurement again after each articulation angle correction.
