Replacing Rear Bearing Of Front Axle Lower Wishbone - AR33.20-P-0527MFA

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove front left or right wheel and tire assembly.   AR40.10-P-1102MFA
2 Remove lower engine compartment lining. Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 282 AR61.20-P-1105MFA
    Model 118, 177, 247 with engine 608, 654 AR61.20-P-1105MFE
    Model 243 AR61.20-P-1105EQA
3 Remove left or right rear section of front fender liner. Model 118, 177, 247 AR88.10-P-1301MFA
    Model 243 AR88.10-P-1301EQA
4 Remove left and right underfloor paneling. Model 243 AR61.30-P-1001EQA
5 Remove screw (1). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace screw/bolt (1).
Only tighten screw (1) in ready-to-drive condition.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, transverse control arm to transverse control arm bearing
*BA33.15-P-1004-01F 
6 Remove screw of comfort bearing (2) from longitudinal member. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Clean thread in longitudinal member.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, transverse control arm bearing to longitudinal member
*BA33.15-P-1003-01F 
7 Remove screws of comfort bearing (2) at front axle carrier. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Clean threads in front axle carrier.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, transverse control arm bearing to front axle carrier

8 Mark installation position of comfort bearing (2) relative to transverse control arm using suitable means and transfer marking to new comfort bearing (2). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Pay attention to the markings.  
9 Remove comfort bearing (2). INSTALLATION NOTES
Make sure that comfort mounting (2) is positioned correctly.
Otherwise, the comfort bearing (2) will be damaged.
 
10 Install in the reverse order.
