Vehicles with remote trunk closing

The trunk lid lock element is located behind the rear-end center-section trim.

Vehicles with EASY-PACK tailgate

The tailgate lock element is located on the left in the tailgate.

Function

The trunk lid/tailgate lock element (1) pulls the trunk lid or tailgate into the door lock. Depending on the model, the trunk lid/tailgate lock element (1) is actuated by the central signal acquisition and actuation module or the rear signal acquisition and actuation module.
